Monday is garbage pick-up day for most of the Town of Columbia.  Some pick-ups are scheduled for Thursdays.  Residents and businesses are asked to remove garbage containers from curbsides as soon as possible after they have been emptied. 

   The Town of Columbia contracts through Tyrrell County with GDS/REPUBLIC SERVICES for garbage pick-up and recycling.  Recycling services and pick-up are provided for brown and white items upon request.  Recycling is scheduled for every other Friday.
